The results are in for Flank Hawk in the 2009 Preditors & Editors Readers Poll: Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Novel: 6th Place Best Author: 8th Place Best Cover Art: 11th Place

My Short Story "Vegetable Matters" published in *MindFlights* (January 2008) was submitted to the Short Mystery Fiction Society's nomination committee to be considered for the 2009 Derringer Award in the Best Novelette Category. "Vegetable Matters" was a Finalist for the 2009 Derringer Award in the Novelette Category, but alas, did not win.

	My Short Story "Drug Dogs" published in Futures Mystery Anthology Magazine's January/February 2007 edition was submitted to the Short Mystery Fiction Society's nomination committee to be considered for the 2008 Derringer Award in the Medium Length Short Fiction Category. It didn't make the cut for final nomination status.
